Marco the host was exceptional. He was informative, friendly and made our experience most enjoyable. He explained the menu well and explained certain ingredients we weren’t aware of being Australians.. the food was excellent! Easy the best porcini pizza I have eaten in Rome! Service fast and atmosphere great. No complaints and highly recommend.. 5 stars all round

Would highly recommend this restaurant! Food/drinks were delicious and service was incredible. Marco (aka Johnny Depp) was very hospitable, even helping us understand the menu and showing us pictures of each dish. We can’t wait to go back.

We popped into Le Bistrò Roma for a quick snack, sharing some bruschetta and beverages. The bruschetta itself was quite good, and the portion was decent enough for a light bite. However, our thirst proved a little expensive, with a large water and small Sprite setting us back €4 each – a tad punchy for what they were. The service was... enthusiastic. Our waitress made a valiant attempt to clear our half-eaten bruschetta, clearly eager to move on to the next culinary conquest. A quick rescue mission on our part saved the remaining bites. We'd pictured a tranquil Roman street scene, but the reality was more "Vespa chic," with traffic providing a lively, if unexpected, soundtrack to our snack. Come for the bruschetta, stay (briefly) for the adventure!

We were in Rome for 4 days. We visited the restaurant 3 times as the staff .food and service were excellent. The atmosphere was great I would highly recommend it.

There were three of us today and we were incredibly hungry. Luckily, we didn't have to wait a second for a table in the air-conditioned interior. The service was excellent and quick; we ordered drinks and water immediately and received lots of really delicious bread with butter and dressing. The bistro was very cute and the staff were super friendly, and their English was really good too. Our food arrived pretty quickly and smelled so delicious. My lasagna cost €16 and was a large, filling portion that tasted fantastic. Real authentic Italian lasagna! My two friends also ordered spaghetti and were extremely satisfied with the price, portion, and taste. This lunch totaled under €20 for each of us, which I think is perfectly acceptable! We will definitely go there again when we come back to Rome. P.S One of the waiters looked like Captain Jack Sparrow and he loved hearing that :)
